Solid Surface is an acrylic based material with added colors, minerals, metallics and resins with consistent color all the way through.

 

It sands tough against water, high heat, and impacts while having the added advantage of being easily  buffed out or repaired from minor scratches if they do occur. 

 

It can have seamless integral sinks and beautiful edge treatments.  The colors can vary from muted and subtle, to mimicking natural materials, to eye-popping reflective metallics that have no equal.
